The Australian Financial Reviews has revealed a staggering amount of teak has been lost to fire and flooding in Australia’s most famous state, Victoria.
The magazine published a full catalogue of the fires, which it said were set to avenge a fatal car crash.

Mr Rudd said the fires had been started deliberately and would be fought.
”They are targeting the teak industry, and that’s why we need to get them out,” he said.
The fires are being blamed on a car crash in which a woman was killed and another person seriously injured.
”These fires have been started to kill the teaks, and they are going to get the teas out of Victoria,” Mr Rudd told ABC Radio.
”And I’m not going to give up.”
