The family of a woman killed by a falling tree is still living in a small trailer, and they have been searching for answers.
The family of Ashley Lynn Sturgis has been searching in vain for answers since her death last month, and now they have the opportunity to finally get answers.
Ashley Lynn Sturdis, 19, was found dead inside her home in the small town of Greenville, W.
Va., on Aug. 21.
She was buried at Greenville Funeral Home, where she was a graduate student.
The Greenville Police Department says it has been working with authorities since the summer to find out who is responsible for Sturgises death, and has filed a missing person report with the state.
Sturgis’ mother says she did not know much about her daughter’s death.
She says she was only told her daughter had gone missing last year, but was told she may have gone to her boyfriend’s house.
The police department says there were no other known missing persons in Greenville.
Police say there was a report of a missing girl from Greenville in June, but the report was later deleted.
In addition to her death, Sturgisa was found to have been pregnant with a child.
She was the first person found in her trailer to be shot in the head.
The sheriff’s office says Sturgisi’s boyfriend, James Sturgiss, was also found dead in the trailer.
The teen had been missing since June.
The State Bureau of Investigation says it is looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of Ashley Sturgisf.
