Sunroom, an Ikea furniture store in Melbourne, has announced it will be shutting down at the end of the month.
It said it was forced to close due to its high demand for beds.
“We are sad to announce that we have decided to close our doors at the beginning of the year due to the high demand of beds in our stores,” a statement said.
The company said it had invested millions of dollars to build a new facility.
The store has been in operation since 2015.
“Our goal is to continue to grow and grow and continue to serve our customers and their families in the Melbourne area,” Sunroom chief executive Paul Klemperer said in the statement.
The business has been closed to new customers since March, but it is still available to rent for weddings, events and private functions. ABC/wires
